This course also addresses human-computer interface design to allow web page designers to create effective web pages according to established principles of design. Technical skills taught in the course include HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, WordPress, Code Editors, Version Control, and web accessibility.

Web Information Architecture

A graduate-level course course offered by the Library and Information Science Program. The course covers various strategies and skills in which information architects structure, organize, label, navigate and search for information on large corporate or non-profit websites. The primary learning goal of the course is to provide students with an opportunity to build their expertise with information architecture. Students produce website wireframes, taxonomies, workflow diagrams, video presentations and an IA strategy plan.

Course objectives covered development of web design documents, database design, ColdFusion programming, MySQL, and project management.
